The problem

Entering Mexico opens up a huge market, but also a tax and labor system with its own rules.

An RFC tax ID, CFDI electronic invoicing, social security and obligations that start running from day one. Companies that arrive without guidance often lose months on paperwork or, worse, start operating with mistakes that later turn into fines.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Mexican partner to set up a company in Mexico?

As a general rule, no: most activities allow 100% foreign ownership. Some sectors have restrictions, so we review yours from the start.

What tax registrations does a foreign company need in Mexico?

At a minimum, registering for an RFC (Mexico's tax ID), obtaining the e.firma (the electronic signature used for filings with the SAT, Mexico's tax authority) and registering the tax obligations that apply to your activity. We guide you through each step so you can start issuing invoices without delays.

Can you handle our accounting after the setup?

Yes. Contadoor provides accounting, tax and payroll services, so the same firm that helped you land can support your ongoing operations.
